Opus did an excellent job of accommodating the need to have both a church and school in one complex. The end result is a constantly active facility, one that is utilized in one way or another all day long, every day of the week.

Saint Ambrose Adds New Chapel and Educational Facility
Saint Ambrose of Woodbury enlisted the Opus team to help design and construct a new chapel and addition to its religious education facility in Woodbury, Minn. This building features a new daily mass chapel and a new educational enrichment facility.
The daily mass chapel is approximately 2,500 square feet and provides seating for approximately 100 parishioners. The educational enrichment facility is approximately 3,200 square feet and includes an open classroom area, teacher’s office, locker area and restrooms.
The exteriors of both the daily mass chapel and educational enrichment facility feature brick veneer that match the architectural design of the existing sanctuary and educational facility. Both buildings are designed with extensive exterior glass to take advantage of their western exposure. The daily mass chapel also features stained glass windows that, coupled with the interior finishes, create a calming and prayerful space.
