Opus Develops Varsity Quarters Near University of Wisconsin-Madison
Building on previous student housing experience, Opus developed and constructed Varsity Quarters, a 72-unit student housing development adjacent to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus. Located across the street from Camp Randall Stadium, Varsity Quarters offers students easy access to campus and nearby Union South.
Offering a high-quality living environment for college students, Varsity Quarters features desirable amenities including:
- in-unit washers and dryers;
- secure parking for cars, bikes and mopeds;
- a fitness center;
- study rooms and
- a social area/club room.
The six-story, mixed-use development has 162 beds and approximately 7,500 square feet of retail space located on the ground-floor, including a 6,500-square-foot Kwik Trip convenience store.
Opus collaborated with Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC, a Chicago-based real estate investment management firm, for this joint-venture project.
