Opus Brings New Student Housing to Minneapolis

Opus Development Company, L.L.C. developed Venue at Dinkytown, a new 140-unit student housing development in the beloved Dinkytown neighborhood, just blocks from the University of Minnesota’s Minneapolis campus.

Providing a best-in-class environment for its residents, the six-story, 246-bed development features 9,500 square feet of retail space on the ground floor, underground parking and high-quality amenities.

The luxury apartments offer numerous amenities for students, including:

granite countertops,
stainless steel appliances,
flat screen TVs in every unit,
a fitness studio and yoga room,
clubroom,
private study area and
heated underground parking.

Construction for this project began in August 2013 and and finished before the start of the 2014 school year – a testament to Opus’ expertise in student housing development and its design-build model.

Harrison Street Real Estate Capital, LLC, a Chicago-based real estate investment management firm, owns the project.
