Responsibilities
- Provides executive leadership to the company’s design services
- Oversees all finances and operations for Opus AE Group
- Manages, in collaboration with company leaders, all phases of the design process from design development through construction administration
- Leads design work on entitlement efforts for projects during the early stages
Experience
Dean has been engaged in the architecture industry since 1983 and joined Team Opus in 1996. He provides leadership and creative capabilities that help guide project success through career development of our talented design services associates. Dean’s many skills, including strategic thinking, planning and storytelling, allow him to work effectively with clients.
With a passion for sustainability, Dean has been leading the Opus GREENteam, a multifaceted team of associates committed to advancing and promoting sustainability at Opus and in our projects. The GREENteam education and wellness for our associates as well as identifying sustainable strategies for the design, development and construction of projects.
Delivering excellent client service is a driving point in each project Dean collaborates on. By listening and making the client a priority, he and his team were able to develop and act on Andersen Windows & Doors goal for a new state-of-the-art facility near Phoenix. The combination of our unique design-build process and experience helped the client imagine and achieve the possibilities. The result of these efforts exceeded the client’s expectations and helped them launch a new manufacturing process.
