Richard Kauffman

As Regional Vice President, Richard has management responsibility for the Indianapolis construction operations of Opus, including design-build project management and field operations. He provides leadership to a team of project managers and construction superintendents working on Opus projects across multiple sectors including office, industrial, institutional, retail and residential. Richard’s responsibilities also include company strategic planning, resource allocation and related activities.

 

Richard has over 26 years of experience in the design, construction and development of office, institutional, retail, industrial, residential and healthcare projects. Early in his career, Richard worked for Opus for 14 years. Prior to returning to Opus in 2016, Richard was president of construction midwest region for DLC Residential, L.L.C.; vice president of construction and development for Gatlin Development and senior project manager for J&S Construction.

 

Richard holds a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering – structural from Purdue University.
