As Vice President, Scott’s primary responsibilities include assisting with the execution of capitalizing projects nationally, across various product types with JV partners, as well as developing relationships with our existing investor partners. In addition to transactional based work, Scott plays a key role in advancing Opus’ brand visibility through participation in industry organizations as well as fostering connections with key external partners, including brokers and advisors.
Scott has over 13 years of real estate experience and prior to joining Opus, Scott was with Axial Real Estate Advisors where he was responsible for leading the acquisition, partnership negotiations/financing and asset management of the firm’s investments. Prior to Axial, Scott was with Dougherty Real Estate Equity Advisors where he was responsible for the underwriting and due diligence of new investment opportunities and assisted with disposition activities. Scott also held previous positions at CBRE and JLL in various roles, including loan originations and tenant representation.
Scott holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Real Estate and Urban Land Economics from the University of Wisconsin - Madison. He is a member of the Wisconsin Real Estate Alumni Association and NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association.
