Associates, Foundation Support Youth Success Camp
Mike Stromberg and Megan Garner mentored many youth and introduced them to careers in real estate development and construction.
Recently, associates based in our Kansas City office participated in the annual Eagle U Youth Success Camp at Baker University for the second year in a row.
Mike Stromberg, Director of Real Estate Development, and Megan Garner, Project Executive, volunteered at this year's Mentor Round Table, answering questions and sparking some interest in a career in real estate development and construction. Additionally, Megan accepted an award on the team's behalf for the continued partnership.
Through our active engagement, the Opus Foundation has awarded Eagle U with a total of $15,000 in Opportunity Fund Grants.
Eagle U is a nonprofit youth leadership, workforce development, entrepreneurship and success retreat for students between the ages of 15 to 25 years old, designed to give students a seven-year career head start. Students who attend Eagle U experience five intense days of fun and learning that will change the trajectory of their life.
