We're excited to announce that
Beth Duyvejonck, Regional Vice President of Construction, has been recognized as an Iowa State University Department of Civil, Construction and Environmental Engineering (CCEE) Distinguished Alumni!
According to the CCEE, “The Distinguished Alumni is for alumni who have significant professional achievement and service. These inductees are pioneers in their fields, changing the way our civil, construction and environmental engineering work is done in the United States and around the world."
Beth earned a Bachelor of Science in Construction Engineering in 1997. The CCEE recognized Beth's “influence and leadership in construction engineering and construction education and strong advocacy for women."
In its second year recognizing Alumni, Beth is the only Construction Engineering Distinguished Alumni.
Beth has been a member of Team Opus for 25 years. She manages the Minneapolis and Des Moines construction operations. She provides leadership to a team of project managers working on projects across multiple sectors including office, industrial, institutional, retail and residential. Beth's responsibilities also include company strategic planning, resource allocation and related activities.
In addition to leaving her mark across project management, recruitment, internships, mentoring, learning and development and more within Opus, Beth has left her mark on the Twin Cities, delivering downtown luxury multifamily towers, suburban corporate campuses and university facilities.
She is currently supporting social justice initiatives as an Opus DEI Champion and focus area leader and as part of the Concerned Builders Group.
Congrats, Beth!
