Building on a rich history dating back to 1953, our expert team understands that today’s buildings require custom, efficient and innovative spaces that meet clients’ specific business needs. When ConAgra Foods decided to consolidate multiple Midwest distribution facilities into one massive, centralized location – their largest building ever built – they turned to us – a trusted and long-time partner.
The groundbreaking in June 2014 marked the first shovel of more than a million cubic yards of earth that would ultimately be moved for construction of the new facility. In just six months, the structure went up and was fully enclosed, enabling the interior build out to begin on schedule.
Our unique design-build process enabled completion of the immense project on an expedited timeline, wrapping up six weeks ahead of schedule and under budget. ConAgra moved into their new facility in June 2015.
Opus was crucial because of the sheer size of this project and the timeframe we had to get it done within. Building a 1.6-million-square-foot facility in a year is an absolutely incredible feat. On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being the best, I’d recommend Opus at 11.
