Foundation Continues Support of NAIOP Challenges

Along with the Opus Foundation, we're proud to continue to support NAIOP's University Challenges in three of our markets—Denver, Indianapolis and Minneapolis.

Local NAIOP chapters host teams of university students in a real estate development competition. Students roll up their sleeves and create development proposals for specific, often underused, properties in their region. The proposals create a vision for what the property could become that incorporate research and determine best uses. The team's proposals are judged by local real estate experts, and the Opus Foundation awards scholarship funds to the winning teams.

This year's winners are:

• Denver: University of Denver (first place) and University of Colorado (runner up)
• Indianapolis: University of Indianapolis
• Minneapolis: University of Minnesota (first place), Marquette University (second place) and St. Cloud State University (third place)
