Nick Dighton Named Rising Young Professional
Nick has positively impacted institutional and industrial projects in Minnesota and North Dakota.
Nick Dighton, Project Manager, has been named to Finance & Commerce’s 2024 Rising Young Professionals!
As Project Manager, Nick manages construction projects, including collaboratively developing scope, project cost estimates, project schedules, project safety plan and project quality assurance program. His portfolio includes Cretin-Derham Hall – Athletics (St. Paul), DeLaSalle Classroom Renovations (Minneapolis), Academy of Holy Angels Summer Refresh (Richfield, MN) and Dakota Commerce Center (Fargo, ND).
Nick contributed to the successful completion of three large buildings at Dakota Commerce Center and was called upon to lead the Academy of Holiday Angels summer slam projects – school construction jobs with expedited timelines and hard deadlines where work is completed over the summer before school is back in session. His natural ability to put himself in his clients’ and colleagues’ shoes together with his leadership capabilities and construction proficiency led to his promotion earlier this summer to Project Manager.
“Nick has a unique ability to connect with the clients he works with to build trust and drive the results that are crucial to project success for all parties,” said Eric Ryan, Senior Project Manager and Nick’s manager. “Teams he works with notice that he does this with an even-keeled approach that helps him tactfully navigate through the stressful environment of construction. And he does this while handling an incredibly demanding workload. Nick is a tremendous asset to Opus.”
Congrats, Nick!
