INDIANAPOLIS – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today that Rich Kauffman will lead Opus Design Build, L.L.C.’s project management team as regional vice president for Indianapolis and the surrounding region. In his new role, Kauffman will focus on delivering clients’ vision for their real estate design and construction.

Kauffman has more than 20 years of professional experience in development and construction planning, most recently as president, construction Midwest region, with DLC Residential, L.L.C. where he led staff and projects in the Minneapolis and Chicago areas. Kauffman’s experience also includes time with Gatlin Development Company, J&S Construction, Navistar International and Huber, Hunt & Nichols.
Kauffman also worked as a project manager for Opus Northwest, L.L.C. from 1994 to 2008 and was involved in the completion of a number of successful Minneapolis projects. Coupled with his more recent experience, Rich has developed a clear understanding of design-build construction, development and the Opus culture.

Kauffman graduated from Purdue University with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He is also EIT certified.
