MINNEAPOLIS – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today a contract with AmerisourceBergen to develop and construct a new distribution center within Valley Park Business Center in Shakopee, Minnesota.

Opus’s design-build capabilities will allow the company to quickly provide a turn-key building, customized specifically to AmerisourceBergen’s needs, which was a key factor in the selection. The building will include warehouse space and two stories of office space. The site is also able to accommodate optional expansion at a later date.

Opus’ recent portfolio of work includes 6.8 million square feet of industrial developments currently in its pipeline or completed in the past 16 months across the United States.
Construction for AmerisourceBergen will begin July 2015 with scheduled completion in 18 – 24 months. Opus Development Company, L.L.C. will be the developer, Opus Design Build, L.L.C. will be the design-builder and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. will be the architect and engineer of record.
