The Opus Group® Announces Completion of New Worldwide Headquarters for TriZetto Corporation

DENVER, Colo. - ​The Opus Group today celebrates the completion of construction on a new 168,000-square-foot build-to-suit worldwide headquarters for TriZetto Corporation, in Englewood, Colo. The project generated approximately 500 construction jobs.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held yesterday with Gov. John Hickenlooper and Trace Devanny, chairman and CEO of TriZetto Corporation, present to commemorate the event. Tim Murnane, president and CEO of Opus Holding, L.L.C., Marshall Burton, senior vice president and general manager at Opus Development Company, L.L.C., as well as other Opus employees also will attend the event.

Located in the Meridian International Business Center in Douglas County, the Class A, five-story office building was designed to foster employee collaboration and creativity and includes an executive briefing center, conference center, implementation center and upgrade center.

“It was a pleasure collaborating with TriZetto Corporation to make their vision for a new worldwide headquarters a reality,” said Marshall Burton. “We worked closely with TriZetto to ensure that employee input was translated into the final project design and our integrated model allowed us to deliver the project on time in just 12 months.”

The building exterior is precast with floor-to-ceiling glass on all the upper levels. The lower level includes a health and fitness center and gourmet-quality café and connects to an outdoor patio complete with an outdoor kitchen, extensive built-in seating and an amphitheater-style gathering area for large corporate meetings.

The project incorporated sustainable practices and was designed and built to achieve a LEED CI rating for the interior tenant finish. Low-flow bathroom facilities and energy-saving lighting were incorporated throughout the building and the heating and air conditioning systems save more energy than required by codes.

Construction began in April 2012 and was completed in March of this year. Lexington Realty Trust owns and manages the building with TriZetto as its only tenant.
