The Opus Group® Announces Completion and Sale of Gavilon World Headquarters to an Affiliate of Lexington Realty Trust

DENVER – The Opus Group announced today the completion and sale of Gavilon’s new world headquarters located in Omaha, Neb., to an affiliate of Lexington Realty Trust, a single-tenant real estate investment trust. The sale closed on Dec. 30, 2013, and it represents the sixth transaction where Opus and Lexington have partnered.

The 128,000-square-foot build-to-suit Class A office building features a state-of-the-art 50,000-square-foot column-free trading floor featuring 22-foot ceilings, full-height glass walls and an open staircase connecting two levels.

The building’s downtown location allows employees close proximity to transportation, accommodations, retail shops and entertainment options.

Opus Development Company, L.L.C. was the developer, and Opus Design Build, L.L.C. served as the design-builder on the project. Open Studio Architecture was the design architect for the project, and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. served as architect and engineer of record.

Gavilon began taking occupancy of the building in December 2013.
