The Opus Group® Announces Contract to Construct Luxury Apartment Complex in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, Miss. - The Opus Group announced today that Opus Design Build, L.L.C is the design-build contractor constructing a new luxury apartment complex in Kansas City, Mo.

Named 51 Main, the six-story project will offer 176 apartment units featuring high-end amenities and 10,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level. Responding to low vacancy rates in the Kansas City market, this apartment building will be located near the trendy South Plaza Neighborhood offering convenient access to retail, dining and entertainment options for residents.

The building features covered onsite parking, a club house, and an outdoor amenity courtyard complete with a pool, grilling area and cabana.

Construction began in January 2013 and the first residents are slated to take occupancy in early fall 2014.

Opus Design Build, L.L.C. is the design-builder for the project. Opus AE Group, L.L.C. is the architect and engineer of record, and 360 Architecture is providing architectural schematic design and landscape design services. VanTrust Real Estate and Land Development Strategies are co-developing the project for a VanTrust related ownership.
