CHICAGO, Ill. - Opus Development Corporation today announced that Mead Johnson Nutrition Company (NYSE: MJN) signed a long-term lease expansion at the Opus Gateway office building located within The Glen mixed-use development in Glenview, Ill. Mead Johnson expanded by an entire floor and will now occupy approximately 68,000-square-feet in the building.
“One key consideration in the establishment of our global corporate headquarters in the Chicago area nearly two years ago was finding a site with the right location and the right amenities at the right price,” said Lynn Clark, Mead Johnson’s Senior Vice President of Human Resources.
Opus Gateway at The Glen is a four-story Class A office building totaling 134,000-square-feet and was completed in late 2008. The building is located equidistant to I-294 to the west and I-94 to the east and is only a short walk from the North Glenview train station, which offers numerous commuting options.
“Mead Johnson has been an outstanding tenant and we’re pleased to accommodate their corporate headquarter expansion,” said John Carlson, real estate director for Opus Development Corporation.
Class A office space totaling 54,000-square-feet remains available for lease at Opus Gateway at The Glen.
