CHICAGO – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today the start of construction on a 175,000-square-foot corporate headquarters for MC Machinery Systems, Inc. (MC Machinery Systems) in Elk Grove Village, Illinois. Currently operating in nearby Wood Dale, Illinois, MC Machinery Systems has an expanding workforce and a need for more space. The new facility will fulfill that need and enable the company to grow well into the future.
A subsidiary of the global Mitsubishi Corporation, MC Machinery Systems develops, sells and supports seven different types of high-tech manufacturing equipment used primarily for metalworking and metal fabrication. The larger space and customized design of the new facility will allow the company to further expand its capabilities and service a diverse range of industries including automotive, aerospace, energy, medical, military/defense, agriculture and more.

The new facility will include a variety of spaces specifically tailored to accommodate customer product demonstrations, research and development, machine refurbishment and a call center for customer support. In total, the building will feature 50,000 square feet of office space spread across two stories, 75,000 square feet of ancillary office and storage areas and a 50,000-square-foot showroom to showcase MC Machinery Systems’ equipment and enable the company to effectively host walkthroughs for its multinational customer base.

Construction on this project began April 2016 and completion is slated for December 2016.
