The Opus Group announced today the start of construction on a mid-size,
last-mile distribution center in Noblesville, Indiana. Located within the Saxony Corporate Campus on Bergen Boulevard and approximately 25 miles northeast of Indianapolis, the 157,500-square-foot building will bring much needed distribution space to the Noblesville community.
CentraSep Technologies, a Trucent company specializing in centrifuges and filtration systems, will lease 44,000 square feet of the development.
“Noblesville has a growing and diverse business community that will benefit from the distribution space this project offers," said
Doug Swain, vice president and general manager at Opus. “In recent years, we've seen a consistent need for distribution and last-mile facilities, largely due to growth in e-commerce, and we're eager to deliver this space to the marketplace. We're providing CentraSep Technologies with a space that both fits their needs and allows their expanding business to continue to thrive in the Noblesville community.
The 12.1-acre site on the southeast side of Noblesville will offer CentraSep Technologies and additional future tenants convenient access to nearby suburban areas and major transportation routes including Interstate 69 and 146th Street. The site has been approved for property tax abatement and offers flexibility for tenants with three front entrances, 159 auto parking stalls and the potential to add an additional auto and trailer stalls. Other features include 32-foot clear height, LED lighting, 18 docks and two drive-in docks.
Construction is expected to be complete in the spring of 2021.
Opus is the developer, design-builder and architect and structural engineer of record. Brian Buschuk and Steve Schwegman of JLL are the listing brokers. Brian Sietz of JLL is the tenant rep broker for CentraSep Technologies.
