The Opus Group (Opus) announced today the start of construction on Nordeast Business Center, a speculative industrial building in the Northeast neighborhood of Minneapolis, Minnesota. The Northeast neighborhood has a rich history as a thriving industrial oasis and today is also known for its mix of food and culture, with art and entertainment, restaurants, breweries, bars and shops. Opus worked closely with neighboring groups to help preserve the area's charm, adding pollinator-friendly, neonicotinoid-free plants and reincorporating public art displays to the urban site.

Located at University Avenue and 37th Avenue Northeast, Nordeast Business Center will total 130,440 square feet. The building will feature 136 vehicle parking stalls, 22 dock doors, two drive-in doors, 19 trailer parking stalls and 32-foot clear height. The project is scheduled to be complete in the summer of 2022.
Opus is the developer, design-builder, and architect and structural engineer of record. John Ryden, Matt Oelschlager and Mike Bowen of CBRE are marketing the property for lease.
