The Opus Group (Opus) announced today the start of construction on a speculative industrial building, Sanctuary Business Center, in Blaine, Minnesota. Located 15 miles north of Minneapolis, the building will help fulfill the region's ongoing demand for functional Class A space and can accommodate up to four tenants.

The 137,178-square-foot building will feature two drive-in doors, 32 dock positions, ample employee parking with 160 stalls and the ability to expand, trailer parking, LED lighting and loading options to optimize operating efficiency. Additionally, high clerestory windows are located on the rear side of the building allowing natural daylight into the space, providing energy reduction and an enhanced employee experience.
Sanctuary Business Center offers immediate access to Interstate 35W, along with the convenience of being near the Twin Cities. The building will appeal to a wide range of uses, including e-commerce, aerospace, manufacturing, food service and more. The project is scheduled for completion in July 2022.
Opus is the developer, design-builder, interior designer and architect and structural engineer of record. Danny McNamara of Cushman & Wakefield is the listing broker for the property. Stantec is the civil engineer on the project.
