MINNEAPOLIS – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today that Craig Larson has been promoted to regional vice president of Opus Design Build, L.L.C.
In his new role, Larson will oversee the Minneapolis operations of Opus Design Build, L.L.C. Additionally, Larson will provide leadership to ensure clients’ needs and expectations are met or exceeded for third-party construction projects as well as development projects in which The Opus Group is engaged.
“Craig has a long and successful track record at Opus and I am very pleased he has taken on this increased role,” said Dave Bangasser, president and CEO of Opus Design Build, L.L.C. “With Craig responsible for the Minneapolis construction operations, I will concentrate more of my time and energy on strategic initiatives in addition to overseeing construction operations for Opus’ nine offices.”
Larson has more than 35 years of design-build and construction management experience at Opus. Some of his recent projects include the new 258,000-square-foot Anderson Student Center at the University of St. Thomas, the 31,000-square-foot expansion and renovation for Visitation School and the 18,000-square-foot Luther College Aquatic Center in Decorah, Iowa.

Larson earned a Bachelor of Science in construction engineering from Iowa State University. He is a member of the Design-Build Institute of America (DBIA), the Associated General Contractors of Minnesota and the United States Green Building Council.
