MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Opus Development Corporation announced today the sale of five acres of land in Cambridge, Minn. to Mills Fleet Farm for an undisclosed sum.
“We’re pleased to have worked with Mills Fleet Farm to help meet their retail needs,” said John Gelderman, senior vice president, national retail development at Opus Development Corporation. “Recovery in the retail sector has been slow but steady and this Cambridge sale is a great example of this trend.”
The parcel is conveniently located off of Hwy. 95 next to the Cambridge Retail Center, which includes a Target and Cub Foods, and is across the street from Menards and Walmart.
The site grants Mills Fleet Farm the additional space it needed in front of a recently purchased building, which the retailer plans to convert into a new store to serve its growing customer base in the area. The store will also serve customers in North Branch, Minn. and along the I-35 corridor.
Mid-America represented Opus in this transaction.
In addition to this sale, Opus Development Corporation is finalizing the sale of the first building in Phase II of the Shoppes at Fox River Development in Waukesha, Wis.
