Opus Foundation® Awards Nearly $900k in Grants
In December 2021 the Opus Foundation awarded nearly $900,000 to 17 impactful nonprofit organizations, supporting community revitalization, early childhood education, youth development and workforce development.
Committed to building community for a better tomorrow, in December 2021 the Opus Foundation awarded nearly $900,000 to 17 impactful nonprofit organizations, supporting community revitalization, early childhood education, youth development and workforce development.
Over the coming weeks, we'll profile two of the impactful organizations who received grants in this round, including:

- Great River Greening (Minneapolis)
- Hope Ministries (Des Moines)
- Jackie Joyner-Kersee Foundation (St. Louis)
- Junior Achievement of Greater St. Louis
- MicroGrants (Minneapolis)
- Mile High Youth Corps (Denver)
- New Pathways for Youth, Inc. (Phoenix)
- Operation Breakthrough (Kansas City)
- Project for Pride in Living, Inc. (Minneapolis)
- Society of St. Vincent de Paul (Phoenix)
- St. Mary's Early Childhood Center (Indianapolis)
- Urban Boatbuilders (Minneapolis)
- YMCA of Metropolitan Chicago
From July to December, the Foundation awarded $192,500 with 42 opportunity fund grants. Opportunity fund grants are awarded monthly and are designed to provide a quick response to needs and opportunities in our communities.
