Opus Foundation® Awards $910k in Grants
In June 2022 the Opus Foundation awarded nearly $910,000 to 13 impactful nonprofit organizations, supporting community revitalization, early childhood education, youth development and workforce development.
Committed to building community for a better tomorrow, in June 2022 the Opus Foundation awarded $910,000 in grants to impactful nonprofit organizations, supporting community revitalization, early childhood education, workforce development and youth development.
Over the coming weeks, we'll profile three of the impactful organizations who received grants in this round, including:
- Lake Street Council (Minneapolis)
- Child Crisis Arizona
- Denver Kids
The Foundation is proud to also support the following organizations that received Impact Fund and multi-year grants in June:
- African American Leadership Forum (Minneapolis)
- Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Greater Twin Cities
- Big Shoulders Fund (Chicago)
- Camp Fire Minnesota
- Colorado Coalition for the Homeless
- Dress for Success Indianapolis
- Goodwill of Central and Southern Indiana
- Pathway Financial Education (Kansas City)
- Summit Academy OIC (Minneapolis)
- Construction Careers Foundation (Minneapolis)
From January through June, the Foundation awarded $119,000 with 24 opportunity fund grants. Opportunity fund grants are awarded monthly and are designed to provide a quick response to needs and opportunities in our communities.
