CHICAGO – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today plans for a 112,000-square-foot speculative warehouse and office building in Bolingbrook, Illinois. Known as 1325 Remington, the project will be located within the Interstate 55 industrial corridor of suburban Chicago with construction set to begin this spring.

Situated on nearly nine acres in the Carlow Corporate Center, 1325 Remington will be located a half mile from the I-55 interchange at Weber Road. The project will also feature 28-foot clear height, state-of-the-art lighting systems, an ESFR fire suppression system, up to 242 car parking spaces, three drive-in doors and 11 loading docks with room for expansion. The development will be able to accommodate single- or multi-tenant occupancy with separate entrances for each tenant space.
The project is slated for completion in October 2016. Opus’ recent portfolio of work includes more than 8.4 million square feet of industrial developments currently in its pipeline or completed in the past 24 months across the United States.
Opus Development Company, L.L.C. will be the developer, Opus Design Build, L.L.C. will be the design-builder and Opus AE Group, L.L.C. will be the architect and structural engineer of record. Dominic Derose and Vern Schultz of Colliers International will market the property for lease.
