The Opus Group® (Opus) announced today promotions of
Pete Conlon to senior vice president, capital markets and
Dave Everson to senior vice president, sales and finance, both for Opus Development Company. They will continue to report to Dave Menke, president and CEO, Opus Development Company. Both leaders have been critical to the growth and success of Opus and building a strong portfolio of equity and debt partners. Menke said their appointments reflect not only their outstanding performance and results, but also the additional responsibilities they have assumed as Opus expands its capital markets capabilities and team.
Conlon has more than 20 years of real estate experience, over seven of which have been at Opus. He oversees all joint venture capital sourcing and underwriting, and all equity partner relations. Conlon is based in Minneapolis.
“During Pete's tenure with Opus, he has successfully grown our equity partner relationships threefold. His skill and expertise have resulted in more than $3 billion in joint venture project value during his time at Opus," said Menke. “Pete has earned a reputation among development leaders across all of our offices as a valued partner in capital structuring."
Conlon holds a Master of Science degree in real estate finance and investment from New York University and a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics from the University of California, Davis. He is a member of the Urban Land Institute, New York University Alumni Association, University of California, Davis Alumni Association and NAIOP, the commercial real estate development association.
Everson has been with Opus for 23 years. He is responsible for all construction financing and the eventual sale of all projects across Opus' portfolio. In addition, he oversees lender and investor relations. Everson is based in Chicago.
