The Opus Group® (Opus) today announced the promotion of
Kelli Justesen and
Kim Noonan to newly-created executive leadership positions. Justesen was named chief human resources officer (CHRO) and Noonan chief brand experience officer (CBXO). Both report to
Tim Murnane, president and chief executive officer of Opus Holding, L.L.C.

As CHRO, Justesen is responsible for leading and managing the strategies and efforts associated with attracting, developing, engaging and retaining industry-leading talent at Opus. As a member of the executive leadership team, she brings both human resources and strategic business perspectives to the table, leading and supporting organization-wide efforts focused on the Opus employee experience and culture.
“Kelli's promotion to CHRO is a reflection of her sustained top-notch performance, human resources expertise and dedication to Opus," Murnane said. “In her 11 years with Opus, Kelli has been instrumental in directing and redefining many of the processes, policies and tools to more fully empower our associates to maximize success in their roles and collectively as teammates."
For the past two years, Justesen has led Opus' pandemic response team and co-sponsored the company's diversity, equity and inclusion efforts. She also led the creation of the company's onboarding process and leadership development program, advanced succession planning and enhanced Opus' health, welfare and retirement savings plans.
Justesen joined Opus in 2011 and has served as vice president of human resources since 2016. She has more than 20 years of human resources experience, with over 19 of those years in the construction and real estate industry. She holds a master's degree in business administration from the University of St. Thomas, Opus College of Business, and a bachelor's degree in biology from Gustavus Adolphus College. She is also an HRCI-certified senior professional in human resources and a senior certified professional and member of the Society for Human Resources Management.
“Kim's vision and exceptional leadership and communication skills, combined with her expertise in marketing and branding, continue to be a driving force in shaping the future of Opus," Murnane said. “This promotion recognizes Kim's track record of performance, marketing and brand expertise and impactful organizational leadership."
Most recently, Noonan co-led the launch and implementation of Opus' DEI effort with Justesen. She also helped drive the company's pandemic response, developed the company's client journey and client insights program, created employer brand and peer recognition programs, expanded marketing and public relations efforts to support the brand, and co-founded the Opus Women's Network. Kim also serves on the Opus Foundation board of directors.
Noonan joined Opus in 2015 and has served as vice president, marketing and brand since 2016. She has more than 25 years of experience in business and marketing. Prior to joining Opus in 2015, Noonan held roles at Polaris Industries, Jostens and MoneyGram International. She earned a master's degree in business administration in marketing and a bachelor's degree in business administration, both from the University of Minnesota's Carlson School of Management. She is currently pursuing a certificate from the University of Minnesota Office of Equity & Diversity.
