The Opus Group announced today the start of construction on an industrial build-to-suit project in Owatonna, located an hour south of the Twin Cities. Bosch Automotive Service Solutions, a business sector of Bosch, one of the world's largest suppliers of automotive components, will lease and occupy the 265,630-square-foot warehouse and distribution facility.

The development allows for convenient access to Interstate 35 and will have 30-foot clear height, 90 parking stalls, 26 dock doors, one drive-in door, 12 semi-trailer parking stalls and an ESFR fire protection system. Additionally, there will be 7,600 square feet of office space that includes a breakroom, driver lounge, conference room and wellness room. Bosch will utilize the new facility as a distribution hub for its automotive repair and maintenance equipment to serve domestic and international needs.

Opus is providing development services and is the design-builder, interior designer and architect and structural engineer of record. Stonemont Financial Group is the owner of the building. The project is slated for May 2021 completion.
