The Opus Group (Opus) announced the completion of a new multifamily development,
Vesi, in the vibrant North Loop neighborhood of Minneapolis. The six-story, 218-unit building features a mix of studio, alcove, one-bedroom, two-bedrooms and penthouse units.
Situated on 2.5 acres along West River Parkway where the Mississippi River meets the verve of the city, Vesi appeals to residents who want to experience the vibrancy of downtown living while also providing the contrasting serenity of scenic escapes. Vesi offers nearby access to Grand Rounds Scenic Byway with more than 100 miles of combined biking and hiking paths. Additionally, residents are walking distance from numerous retail, entertainment and restaurants options.
The building is equipped with first-in-class amenities, including a rooftop terrace with river and city views, a pool and spa, lounge seating, grilling areas and fire pits. Vesi offers a fitness room; library; dog wash; and a den complete with billiards, a golf simulator and a large multiscreen TV. To preserve the overall aesthetic of the historic district, the apartment building was constructed with metal, stone and brick materials.
“Our partners at The Excelsior Group and ESG Architects helped bring the Vesi vision to life, delivering the ultimate blend of the cityscape and neighboring natural elements for residents,” said Nick Murnane, director of real estate development at Opus. “With more than one thousand units complete across our five multifamily projects downtown, we’re proud to deliver another great living option to the Minneapolis community.”
Vesi is Opus’ fifth housing project in the downtown area since 2014, following 365 Nicollet, Variant, Nic on Fifth® and VÉLO®.
Opus was the developer, design-builder and architect and engineer of record. ESG Architects was the design architect and interior designer.
