DENVER, Colo. - Opus Development Corporation, in partnership with Amstar, announced today plans to build a new high-rise luxury apartment building in downtown Denver. Located at 1490 Delgany St., the 10-story building will offer a variety of luxury amenities.
The 285-unit luxury apartment project that will feature approximately 4,000 square feet of retail space on the ground level, which may be utilized by the Museum of Contemporary Art (MCA). The project is a joint venture between Opus Development Corp. and Amstar. Opus Development Corporation is the developer assisted by Urban Market Partners of Denver, co-developer on the project. Opus Design-Build, L.L.C. will construct the building, Opus AE Group Inc. will serve as architect of record, and Shears Adkins + Rockmore will design the building.

Amstar Executive Director Kim Sperry cited strong fundamentals in the Denver market and significant demand for apartment rentals as the reasons for acquiring the site at this time. The project is scheduled to break ground in the spring of 2012.
