Today is Founder's Day!
In 1953, our founder, Gerry Rauenhorst, signed his first contract as Rauenhorst Construction Company to build Zion Lutheran Church in his hometown of Olivia, Minn.
The principles that Gerry embraced in the beginning went on to inspire the core values we all uphold today – safety, integrity, respect, innovation, entrepreneurship and stewardship.
For the past six years, the design on the back of the t-shirt comes from a friendly internal competition. In January, associates were invited to submit their designs; then all associates were able to choose their favorite design.

Continuing Our Stewardship Commitment
Since 2012, we've honored Gerry's legacy of giving back by celebrating Founder's Day through volunteering. Given the impact of COVID-19 is different across the country, we're taking a more flexible approach to volunteering this year. Each office will volunteer when it works best for the team.
