The Iowa Army National Guard AFRC Complex project wasn’t without its challenges. From squeezing a large building onto a small lot to making the facility aesthetically pleasing, our integrated team took on quite a challenge and succeeded. The Iowa Army National Guard was pleased with our work, and they recently sent us an excellent letter of commendation. On behalf of contracting officer, Mark L. Thompson, his colleagues in the United States Property & Fiscal Office, the Construction & Facilities Management Office and the Iowa National Guard, below are some of the highlights from that letter.

On Aesthetics
Beyond the effective functioning of this facility, I would also like to make mention of the excellent design and careful attention paid to aesthetics. The appearance of these buildings represents the image of the Iowa National Guard well.
