Alex is a creative, critical thinker with deep experience in commercial real estate development and asset management.

Responsibilities

Identifies, evaluates and analyzes development opportunities throughout Indiana, Ohio and Kentucky
Evaluates market conditions, assesses best use for development sites, determines financial feasibility of proposed projects and obtains necessary governmental approvals and appropriate economic incentives
Monitors and analyzes current trends in the real estate market; regional growth and transportation dynamics and local economic and business developments to identify value-creating opportunities

Experience

Alex joined Team Opus in 2022 in our Indianapolis office specializing in developing distribution, warehousing and manufacturing facilities. He joined the commercial real estate industry in 2002 and previously held senior management positions in development and asset management at Prologis, The Pizzuti Companies and Elford Real Estate Companies.

Alex has developed more than six million square feet of industrial space in five states, including Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky, Oregon and Washington. He is an industry veteran with broad experience across the entire real estate cycle, from site acquisition and planning, entitlement and permitting to leasing, tenant improvements and asset management.

A firm believer in “doing it right the first time,” Alex has a keen, forward-looking eye for developing buildings that bring long-term value to owners and tenants.

When he’s not working, Alex enjoys traveling, especially to Ohio State football games. He’s been to two national championships and 14 of the 18 Big Ten stadiums. Alex also likes a challenge. He has completed four marathons, eight half marathons and graduated at the top of his class for both his Bachelor’s degree and MBA. Alex appeared in Season 17 of television’s ‘Jeopardy!’ where he won lovely parting gifts.
