Responsibilities

  • Directs and coordinates the acquisition, development, leasing and marketing and obtains necessary jurisdictional permits and approvals for projects across multiple sectors
  • Leverages product-type expertise to provide input on real estate development and acquisition business strategy and implements strategy
  • Performs market, site feasibility and end-use analysis and coordinates due diligence and financial pro-forma modeling and analysis collaboratively with design-build, architecture and engineering associates
  • Works and negotiates with brokers, clients, communities and other stakeholders to create the right product for the market
  • Coordinates and monitors design, project management and construction activities, including project schedules and budgets, and regularly visits project site
  • Directs and coordinates the lease and sale of space within existing and proposed developments
  • Maintains current market knowledge through assembly and analyses of market data and anticipates future trends likely to impact the organization

Experience

Eric started his career in the real estate industry in 2007 and joined us in 2020. His prior experience includes working in Real Estate Private Equity, facilitating acquisitions and asset management and leasing for industrial, multifamily and office assets across the US.

While working on both Kalaco and The Bellwether, two multifamily projects in Denver, Colorado, Eric leaned on his collaboration and planning skills to successfully lead a large team that included the JV partner, the JV partner’s consultant, the architects, third party design professionals and the city of Denver to curate a selection of artists and art for the project.

On the industrial front, Eric has played an important role in the entitlement and disposition of North Washington Commerce Center Phase II, the Sun Empire land closing and sourcing of new industrial opportunities.

His vast experience and knowledge in the industry is appreciated and has been praised by both clients and business partners, noting his determination and perseverance to get the job done, despite the number of moving pieces a project may have. Eric has established a trusted reputation for providing successful results in handling complex projects and deals through his capabilities in coordination and strong attention to detail.

When away from the office, Eric enjoys skiing, traveling and backpacking.
