Experience

Eric joined the industry in 2013 where he first gained experience as a Project Manager with Nelson Engineering Construction prior to joining our team in 2016. His ability to build relationships and trust with colleagues, clients and stakeholders has allowed Eric to succeed at delivering projects on time and to problem solve to meet the clients’ needs

On the Corsa project in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, Eric worked closely with the building official from the beginning, so when a problem arose, he was able to assure the official that both our team and the city were aligned in risk prevention. Making it a priority to have a strong rapport with the official from the start ultimately allowed the work to continue with no delays in schedule or additional costs to the project.

Eric has a history of taking projects with aggressive schedules and using foresight and determination to meet or exceed those schedule milestones. Using his skills in scheduling and problem solving, he was able to work collaboratively with colleagues to meet the needs of the client on the North Star Sheets manufacturing facility. The client came to Opus asking for an eight-month timeline to entitle, design and build a facility to house over $10M in equipment arriving in less than eight months. Eric, along with the team, rose to the challenge and was able to be prepared for that equipment in seven months, delivering the building complete with occupancy in eight. The North Star Sheets team praised Eric for his attention to detail, dedication to problem solving and client-centered focus which kept them on schedule and budget.

When away from the office, Eric enjoys yoga and meditation, world traveling, camping and hiking, outdoor road biking and cooking.
