Experience

Justin began his construction career with us in 2018 – first as a Co-Op Project Intern before joining full time. He provides design-build project management on industrial and multifamily projects in Kansas City and St. Louis, Missouri, and Charlotte, North Carolina.

On his projects, Justin has shown skills in communication, flexibility, project knowledge and responsibility.

Justin managed submittals on Briarcliff (Kansas City, MO). During the submittal phase we were implementing a new technology. Justin tackled learning the system and maximizing its capabilities to streamline the work. Submittals and shop drawings were organized and available for field leadership. And Justin established some best practices for the organization.

The Briarcliff project had a very strict allowance budget as the project was designed in the wake of the material escalation/supply chain constrained market. The project management team provided the owner with the best advice with respect to budget and overall finished product. Despite the challenges of the market, all design controllable decisions stayed within stated owner allowances.

The Core & Main TI (Earth City, MO) project timeline was derailed by additional fire code issues that stemmed from high-pile racking. The code required two additional fire exits in the precast shell and was not identified until after the construction of the TI had begun. Posing an issue to their occupancy date, the project managers and designers came together to establish a code compliant design that stayed within the exterior requirements of the building park. The additional exits were incorporated into the construction sequence and the tenant was able to gain occupancy as planned.

In his free time, Justin enjoys playing roller hockey, fishing and Camping and St. Louis Blues hockey and Cardinals baseball.
