Experience

Kelsie began her career in 2017 – the same year that she joined us. In that time, she has expanded her experience to include three industrial warehouses, five industrial tenant improvements and one 164-unit multifamily building . A highlight of her work portfolio is a 240,000-square-foot build-to-suit for BAE Systems in Maple Grove, Minnesota.

Listening to her clients and prioritizing their needs while delivering customer satisfaction are among the many attributes that drives Kelsie to manage successful outcomes on projects she champions and receive positive client feedback. She’s able to remain patient while working to problem solve and find solutions that are important to clients and the end user alike.

While working with Fiat Chrysler Automobiles on a tenant improvement project in Bolingbrook, Illinois, the client expressed the importance of the space to attract new trainees into their class programs – they wanted the "wow factor" when potential trainees walked in. Kelsie and her team assessed a variety of options, invested time researching floor options, took the client on tours of previous Opus projects and produced mockups within the client space to help the client make an informed decision they could be confident in. The client and their needs didn't go unnoticed as the project was an overall success, so much so in fact, the client shared that they wanted this project with us to be their "standard."

Kelsie's flexibility, openness and clear communication skills are highly regarded by both clients and team members and contribute greatly to building trust and relationships while on projects.

When she is away from the office, Kelsie can be found enjoying yoga sculpt, running and hiking with her golden retriever. She describes herself as a fitness enthusiast, and she also loves to travel, having visited six continents and studied abroad in Italy. Locally, she enjoys exploring new coffee shops, breakfast spots and farmers markets. At home, she can be found working on home renovation projects and reading.
