Experience

Mike began his career in 2003 and spent 15 years with Shive-Hattery where he gained experience on projects across various commercial sectors, including education, healthcare, government and industrial. Since joining our team in 2019, his focus has primarily been on industrial warehouse/distribution and manufacturing projects. Though his career has evolved since he joined the industry, the one constant that has remained is that he serves as a conduit for his clients to identify the right solutions that resolve the challenges they face. This has helped Mike develop strong, trusting relationships that have provided opportunities to work with clients on a repeat basis.

Problem solving, critical thinking and a curious mind has led Mike to consistently challenge himself to find a "better way" and always ask "why" to find effective solutions and optimize all aspects of the project for his client. He takes pride in being his client's advocate, while being honest as he works with them to accomplish project goals.

When away from the office, Mike enjoys waterfowl hunting and fishing, being on Lake Okoboji with his family and coaching and attending his three daughters’ various sporting events, including soccer, basketball, volleyball and track.
