With decades of experience in construction project management, Scott digs deep to understand clients’ needs and deliver projects that meet or exceed expectations.

Responsibilities

  • Manages project pursuit, design, construction and activation to ensure safety, budget, schedule, quality and client satisfaction goals are met or exceeded
  • Manages, motivates and develops a project construction team and coaches the team to ensure they are engaged and working collaboratively
  • Proactively identifies potential issues with schedule, quality, clients, associates, vendors and subcontractors, and collaborates with team members to implement effective resolutions
  • Leads and demonstrates a commitment to a Safety First work environment for all team members through development and reinforcement of safety best practices that meet or exceed industry standards
  • Contributes to the development of short- and long-term plans for the growth and development of our design-build construction teams
  • Develops direct reports and project teams, including goal setting, mentoring and continuous feedback
  • Collaborates with all departments, including Legal, Finance, Accounting, Architecture and Engineering, with the goal of successfully completing the project
  • Actively promotes and supports a diverse, equitable and inclusive work environment on projects

Experience

Scott started his career in commercial real estate in 2003 working for Weis Builders in the national retail group. Three years later, he joined our project management team. Given his strong leadership, creative thinking and engineering skills, Scott has been consistently promoted to positions of increasing responsibility.

To each project, Scott brings diverse experience gained from managing a wide range of projects in multiple sectors including institutional, multifamily, industrial and retail. He has managed nearly two dozen institutional projects with a combined project value of over $139M for colleges and universities, high schools, churches and the U.S. National Guard.

Scott masterfully synchronizes the work of architects, designers and contractors to ensure projects run smoothly and are delivered as promised. He’s a relationship builder who skillfully brings teams of diverse talents together. Scott is a creative and resourceful leader who finds ways to connect with clients on a personal level. For instance, while managing a construction project for a K – 12 school, he and his project management team worked with faculty to provide science students real-world, hands-on learning about physics using our tools and equipment in the parking lot.
