Experience
Scott started his career in the construction industry in 2003 and joined our team in 2016. He has overseen the construction of many projects and product types, including office, industrial and tenant improvements and multifamily. Previously, Scott gained his experience in the field as a residential carpenter, commercial superintendent and in project management roles. Before joining our team,, he was a Senior Project Manager that functioned as an on-site project manager/superintendent. With his vast experience and notable skills, Scott is able to mitigate challenges as they arise on projects while being adaptable and flexible in various situations.
His attentiveness and thorough understanding of the project predevelopment process has been complimented by business partners again and again and proved invaluable when working on Rock Creek Logistics Center in Joliet, Illinois. Working closely with our developers on the extensive process, Scott helped to evaluate and find a solution on a very challenging land site to optimize land usage and design while collaborating with the land seller. After several months and keeping his "do what it takes" attitude, Scott and the team were able to prove out the concepts for a positive proforma which led to a successful deal. Scott’s ability to stay the course and problem solve allows him to develop and evaluate solutions to discover potential hurdles and prevent them from becoming larger issues.
In his time away from the office, Scott enjoys golfing, boating and being on the lake in the summer. He also can be found emphatically cheering on the Chicago Bears and watching football.
