Enhancing Facilities for Cretin-Derham Hall’s Storied Athletics Department

With a storied athletic history, Cretin-Derham Hall, a Catholic co-ed high school in St. Paul, Minnesota, turned to our Client Direct Services group to deliver enhancements to their gym facility.

The remodeling project included the creation of a mezzanine within existing gymnasium space, which enhanced educational and athletic programming without increasing the building’s overall footprint. The upper level of the mezzanine supports the wrestling program and the new space below provides a flexible space accommodating academic functions and active uses such as the dance program. The locker facilities, which were original to the building, received significant upgrades with GearGrid lockers, physical education and coach’s offices, team meeting spaces, and fully updated restroom and shower facilities giving the space the look, feel and function of a collegiate athletic locker.
