Additional components used to accommodate such a large facility include:

• a structural steel frame designed to accommodate overhead crane access over the entire length of the building
• a large custom truss designed in the center of the building to create a 150-foot, column-free zone allowing blades to pass from the south to north bays

The facility was completed to allow flexibility in the reuse of the building with a clear height of 32 feet, an ESFR sprinkler system and site design to accommodate future dock doors along the entire north elevation.

This build-to-suit industrial distribution facility is located in Newton, Iowa, approximately 30 miles east of Des Moines.
