Thoughtful Architectural Design and Tenant Mix Shine at Arbor Lakes
Phase I: The Main Street of Arbor Lakes
Following meetings with city planners and other officials, Opus started development on the first phase of the Arbor Lakes project – The Main Street of Arbor Lakes.
The initial phase of the 450-acre community integrated more than 500,000 square feet of retail into a street-grid design featuring two-story retail and office buildings along the roads. This main street was surrounded by larger format space for big box retailers, office space and residential properties.
Phase II: The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes
Following this initial phase, Opus had a vision to develop a more pedestrian-friendly retail area – the genesis of Minnesota’s first lifestyle center – The Shoppes at Arbor Lakes.
The 412,000-square-foot center features a roster of upscale retailers including Anthropologie, Coldwater Creek, Pottery Barn and more as well as a spacious courtyard that plays host to outdoor dining venues and civic gatherings.
Opus’ commitment to including civic elements has established the company and Arbor Lakes as responsible contributors to the Maple Grove community.
Phase III: Fountains at Arbor Lakes
The prime location, paired with the unique line-up of tenants and aesthetically pleasing architectural design elements, make Arbor Lakes a desired retail and entertainment destination.
