Benilde-St. Margaret’s Renovation

With a goal of improving student learning spaces to reinforce unique academic programs and support the need for flexible space, Benilde-St. Margaret's, a private high school in the Minneapolis suburb of St. Louis Park, enlisted our Client Direct Services group to complete a renovation of their building to create flexible educational space.

The renovation created room for students and faculty to imagine, innovate and inspire and included:

• excavation of an existing courtyard to create a two-level, terraced atrium that serves as a large gathering space for learning and student, parent or faculty presentations
• a storage space uncovered during excavation was turned into three high-tech, flexible STEM rooms that open onto the atrium and increase natural light
