Chicago Logistic Service Enlists Opus to Customize Facility in West Dundee, Ill.
Chicago Logistic Service, a transportation company that specializes in office, computer, medical and sensitive equipment, enlisted Opus to design and build a 49,984-square-foot industrial building. It is located approximately 40 miles northwest of Chicago in Oakview Corporate Park in West Dundee, Ill.
It is the last remaining site available in Oakview Corporate Park. It is home to several international companies, including WEN Power Tools, HELUKABEL, oleheld U.S. Inc., and Renishaw Incorporated, all of whom enlisted Opus to design and construct their buildings.
Chicago Logistic Service consolidated other facilities into the new, efficient building, which Opus customized for their operations.
The build-to-suit has 2,900 square feet of office space with the remaining square footage designated for warehousing and the ability to expand by another 40,000 square feet. The building was customized for Chicago Logistic Service's operations and features:
