As Senior Director of Real Estate Development, Kit is responsible for expanding and executing on a wide range of developments in the Midwest including industrial, residential, office and retail. He manages site selection and acquisition, project feasibility, entitlements, project financing and design and construction oversight in addition to project marketing, leasing and disposition.
Kit joined Opus in 2019 with over four years of development and acquisition experience focused on residential development both in the Twin Cities and nationally. Prior to Opus, Kit worked as a Development Associate for a local boutique developer and a national low-income housing developer, where he was responsible for the development and acquisition of over 1,200 apartment units totaling more than $250MM in total project costs.
Kit holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and Finance from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota. He is a member of the Minnesota Commercial Association of Realtors, Urban Land Institute, U.S. Green Building Council and NAIOP, the Commercial Real Estate Development Association.
