MINNEAPOLIS – The Opus Group (Opus) announced today the start of construction on two Gander Mountain retail stores in Parker, Colorado, and Youngstown, Ohio. Construction began this fall and completion of both stores is slated for February 2016.

In Parker, Colorado, construction is underway on a 57,000-square-foot retail store at a previously undeveloped site. The third Gander Mountain retail store in the state, the Parker facility is designed to fit the prescribed premium feel for retail developments in the city.
Additionally, Opus has started construction on a 61,000-square-foot store in Youngstown, Ohio. Located at the site of Gander Mountain’s former retail store, the project will convert the previously multi-tenant space into a single occupant facility. New construction will create a larger, more updated space for the retailer’s operations in the area, significantly increasing the capacity for merchandise on site.

Opus Design Build, L.L.C. will be the general contractor for both projects. Opus began its partnership with Gander Mountain in 2012 and has since completed work on eight stores for the outdoor sport and recreation retailer.
