The Opus Group® Completes Construction of Industrial Facility

DES MOINES, Iowa - ​The Des Moines office of The Opus Group announced that it has completed construction on a new 300,000-square-foot industrial facility for a Fortune 100 company.

The facility is a high-cube warehouse with 25 loading docks as well as parking for 27 trailers and 150 employees. The interior features 7,000 square feet of office space and energy-efficient fluorescent lighting throughout. The building links to an existing 410,000-square-foot distribution and warehouse through a one-story climate-controlled connector.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony was hosted at the site earlier this month with Iowa Gov. Terry Branstad present for the occasion. Employees will be situated in the new facility by the end of this month. 

The facility was constructed by Opus Design Build, L.L.C., Opus Development Corporation was the developer and Opus AE Group, Inc. served as the project architect.
