Mokena Corporate Center

​To meet demand for modern, functional industrial space in a submarket ripe and ready to expand, Opus purchased nearly 16 acres in Mokena, Ill. On the property, Opus developed, designed and constructed two speculative industrial buildings.

Located just 36 miles from Chicago and 12 miles east of Joliet, the development and buildings fill a need for industrial space in an area that currently lacks sufficient supply to meet demand. 

The buildings, which were the first of their kind in the area, were designed for flexibility and to appeal to a variety of industrial users. Building 1 is 154,566 square feet and building 2 is 113,627 square feet. The buildings have visibility from I-80 and close proximity to La Grange Avenue and the I-80 interchange. 

Both buildings were completed in June 2020.
